HOPE Volleyball SummerFest is a primarily volunteer-led, not-for-profit Event that raises funds for charities – and has fun doing so! We’ve built our Planning Team roster, and now we’re looking to recruit for our Photography team!
Whether you’re an amateur or experienced photographer looking to build your Event photography portfolio, here is a quick rundown of what we’re looking for:
- Action shots on courts across the entire beach! Serves, spikes, dives, volleys, bumps, and more;
- Team shots, with an extra focus on our Corporate division;
- Championship shots, with photos of the winning teams and their trophies;
- Crowd shots (including the beach, the HOT Lounge, and the Main Bar);
- Photos of our Sponsors (teams and booths), and our Vendors (booths);
- Volunteer photos, including Scorekeepers, Food Services, Bar Services, Greeters, Info Booth, Charity Pavilion, Bike Compound, Parking and more;
- Smiling faces of our players, spectators and Volunteers as they move around the beach;
- Speeches and announcements by H.O.P.E. Board and Staff, as well as our Media partners on stage;
- Limited band photography;
- Anything that catches your eye and makes you think “that would be a GREAT photo;” and
- Organizing, processing and editing event photos (you are welcome to add your personal watermark).
It is going to be a long day with an early start, so please be prepared to do a lot of walking, wear plenty of sunscreen, and stay cool and hydrated! You will receive a free lunch, as well as a Volunteer shirt and a lanyard and badge.
