The Ace Has Been Caught!

It was the largest Catch the Ace Jackpot in Ontario. Only two envelopes were left during the final draw. When envelope number 42 was opened on Sunday, November 16th, the Ace of Spades was inside!

Congratulations to Shelley Eckford for winning the combined weekly draw AND the jackpot of over $2.2 million! In total, her winnings were $2,455,512 - how’s that for the largest Catch the Ace jackpot?

At H.O.P.E., we’re so grateful to have been selected by the Kin Club of Russell as a recipient charity for Catch the Ace 7. We’re equally grateful that this partnership will be lasting for five years - and another four lotteries! This time around, $3.3 million was raised to split among twenty-six charities. So thank YOU for your support!

The funding we will receive will support our Bags of HOPE initiative, as well as helping us start up a new HOPE Grocery Support program during an era of economic uncertainty.

Stay tuned for Catch the Ace 8, starting up in the new year! We wonder how many envelopes will be opened before the ace is caught next time…
