At the heart of every successful event lies the dedication and passion of its volunteers. At H.O.P.E., we believe in recognizing the extraordinary efforts of these individuals who go above and beyond. This year, we are thrilled to introduce the "Spirit of H.O.P.E. Award," a new accolade designed to honor a volunteer who has significantly contributed to the planning and execution of our events, radiated positivity, and embodied the essence of kindness.
Inaugurably, the Spirit of H.O.P.E. Award for 2023 proudly goes to Lisa Hollingshead.

Lisa Hollingshead has been more than just a volunteer for the HOPE Volleyball SummerFest 2023; she has been a key figure in the planning of many events for several years.
Lisa's dedication stands out, during the event as she helps everywhere she can and during the planning of the event as she is always one of the first individuals to show up(might I add with always a positive energy).
Her genuine concern for the well-being of volunteers, expressed through kind gestures and thoughtful inquiries, has been a calming force. Her positive energy is infectious, lifting the spirits of everyone on the team. This empathy enables others to momentarily set aside the backstage stress and truly savor the joy of the event.
Lisa truly embodies the spirit of H.O.P.E. - "Helping Other People Everywhere."
