You know what they say: three is a magic number! So maybe something special will happen at this year’s festival? Maybe your band— or a band you know —will be the ones making magic!
Applications are open as of today and close on June 22, 2026. Because this year’s HOPE Rockfest will be a showcase of exclusively local talent, we’ll only be selecting musical acts from Ottawa and the surrounding area (Eastern Ontario and the Outaouais).
The three chosen bands will each get to play a 30 minute set and receive an honorarium of $100 per member ($500 maximum). They’ll also get the chance to pose for professional band portraits and have a dedicated space to sell merch! If that wasn’t cool enough, at the end of the night, one act from Rockfest will be selected to play at another live event presented by H.O.P.E.!
If you haven’t yet heard of Rockfest, let us set the stage: this event is all about amplifying independent music and elevating the bands in our community. Of course, all proceeds from the festival go to supporting our organization’s mission.
